ARDEX S28 W MICROTEC® Flexible Rapid Set Semi-Pourable Floor Tile and Stone Adhesive White 20kg

ARDEX S 28 and ARDEX S 28 W are high-performance, rapid hardening, and drying tile adhesives, specially formulated for fixing moisture-sensitive natural stone tiles, as well as porcelain, mosaics, fully vitrified, and ceramic tiles in internal dry areas. Their unique semi-pourable consistency is ideal for large format floor tiles. The ARDEX Rapidry Technology incorporated in both adhesives binds all mix water into the hardened adhesive, virtually eliminating the risk of water staining on natural stone tiles or moisture affecting wooden substrates. ARDEX S 28 W is also specifically suited for translucent stones and those requiring a light-coloured background bed. Both products are classified as improved fast-setting cementitious adhesives with reduced slip and extended open time under BS EN 12004.

Coverage: A 20kg bag of ARDEX S 28 or ARDEX S 28 W provides approximately 18.1 litres of mortar, using around 1.1kg of powder per m² for each mm of adhesive bed thickness. Actual coverage may vary based on factors such as the tile’s back profile, notched trowel, and installation technique. For example, a 20kg bag will cover approximately 6m² at a 3mm adhesive thickness.
